STOP BUYING GIFTS!!!!! ~ Thu, 23 Sep 1999

The truth is the person you are giving it to probably has enough stuff as it is. I have been surfing the web and have found that (for aunt Mary who would be insulted if she wasn't properly gifted) there are wonderful sites with VERY nice things we can make from recycled materials.

Why do that?

  • Because you won't waste precious resources by over packaging the item given.
  • She can't tell it's a recycled item.
  • You won't waste gas driving to the store and last but not least,
  • Because a gift of your time and energy is far more precious than that lamp she wants.
