It all began with the idea to make brooches using stained glass, but a "vision" made her change course: As she drove into the parking lot of a stained glass factory to pick up supplies, a ray of sunlight illuminated her water bottle, a dazzling vision.
Victoria realized that she could use recycled materials that would be just as beautiful as glass, but more comfortable to wear and earth friendly at the same time.
A natural compliment to her brooches, Victoria's Eco-earrings are made from strips of recycled aluminum twirled into gorgeous beads so light they feel like air.
Prices range from $18.00 for the Earrings and Brooches alone, to $34.00 for Earring/Brooch Sets.
Victoria creates unique, stunning, hand-crafted jewelry using recycled plastic pop bottles and aluminum pop cans.
Now friends, co-workers and family supply her with materials they might otherwise throw away. Using an innovative, non-polluting process, she transforms the recycled plastic into delicate petals. Findings and colorful twists made from the aluminum cans complete her creations, which she calls Floral Motif Brooches because they look like lovely little arrangements of flowers.
