For all of the books we list, you'll find order links to at least one of three sources- Amazon.com., Powell's, and our General Store. By placing your order through a link on our pages, you get the book for the same price as you would by going directly to the source (Amazon, Powell's, etc.) and we earn a commission on the sale.
We offer three choices to encourage diversity and because they each have advantages:
amazon.com- Has the best prices on recently released books.
Powell's- carries used books. If you enjoy re-using, and they have a used copy of the book you're looking for, you'll probably get the best price from Powell's. In addition, Powell's often has the best price on books that have been out for more than a year. When you click, you'll get a page telling what they have in stock.
GreenSense General Store- Generally, we carry books in the General Store only if we can offer them at a price equal to or better than Amazon or Powell's. If it's not a recent release, and Powell's doesn't have it used, we probably have the best price (If we carry the book).
